Update on current emerging infections
Update on current problems and control strategies for emerging infections such as SARS-CoV-2, Monkeypox virus and vaccine derived poliovirus type 2.
Background
Emerging infectious diseases is defined as having newly appeared in a population or have existed but are rapidly increasing in incidence or geographic range. Emerging infections are emerging as long as control strategies are still not complete.
Target Audience
Physicians, public health specialists, who are active in
emerging infections
Registration fee
- EUR 600 for ESCMID members
- EUR 800 for all others
ESCMID provides a number of attendance grants to covers the registration fee, which covers the course, one hotel night, bus from the hotel to the venue, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a social event. Tickets without accommodation will be available for a reduction of EUR 150.
