Hot topics of infectious diseases and clinical microbiology in Central and Eastern Europe
The aim of the course is to give a comprehensive overview of challenging topics of infectious diseases currently emerging or continuously present in Central and Eastern Europe, from diagnostic and therapeutic perspectives. These include viral, parasitic, fungal diseases and antimicrobial resistance of bacteria. The course also aims to create a forum for networking and discussion on these topics between experts invited from various regions of Europe.

EUR 500 for all others
ESCMID provides a number of attendance grants for
ESCMID Young Scientist Members/ those from LMICs.
Notes for Ticket cost: on average an airticket from major
cities of Europe to Budapest costs 300 EUR. Pécs can
be reached from Budapest by train or bus (return ticket
approx. 20 EUR.)
The registration fee includes educational materials, 3-
day-pass for the public transport within Pécs, coffee
breaks, two lunches, and the dinner with wine tasting.
